Today is 3-14, aka, Pi Day. I wished my nerd (Peter) a happy Pi Day with a peanut butter chocolate pie.

I hadn’t planned on making a pie, so I didn’t exactly have the ingredients for anything but chocolate. Since we’ve had several chocolate pies lately, I figured I’d try to scrape together something else.

I spread some homemade hot fudge in the bottom of a baked pie shell, mixed peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla together and spread that on top of the chocolate and refrigerated it.

I think next time I’ll fold in some whipping cream to make it a little creamier and put it in a chocolate shell.
